Weekly roundup

Weekly Round up:

Under 10:

Our Under 10s travelled to the Kells Road on Wednesday evening where they took on Evergreen FC in a number of games. Some great football played by both sides. Well done to all the players and Coaches

Under 12:

Kilkenny United WFC 0-2 Lions AFC

Kilkenny Under 12s Girls Division 1A

Our U10/11 squad took on Lions AFC at home in The Watershed on Saturday morning. In what was always going to be a tough encounter, the Kilkenny girls put in a good performance with some great football played throughout. With our U12 squad being so young, the U12 league is an opportunity for the young squad to learn, try different things out and develop. It is clear to see that competing in this league has been of benefit to the girls when they return to playing at under 10 and 11s. Well done to all involved.

Under 14:

Gorey Rangers 0-3 Kilkenny United WFC

Wexford U14 Premier Division

The Kilkenny girls made the trip to Gorey on Saturday afternoon and came away with all 3 points getting up a 1 point gap at the top of the table with a game in hand. A super footballing display from all involved. Kate Conroy, Kayleigh O'Callaghan and Claire O'Donohoe were the providers of the Kilkenny United WFC goals in an overall impressive display.

Wexford LTC:

On Friday evening Ellie O'Neill, Kayleigh O'Callaghan, Claire O'Donohoe and Kate Conroy played a major part in the Wexford U14 LTC's 3-2 Inter League Shield Quarter Final win against South Tipperary. Kate Conroy got herself on the scoresheet on the night and Kayleigh, Claire and Ellie played a major role in the game on the night. They take on Galway 2 in the semi finals.

The Under 13 Wexford LTC Squad came away 2-0 winners away to theĀ  Midlands this afternoon. Well done to Aoibhe Meegan, Freya Pender and Amy Dwyer who represent Kilkenny United in this squad.

Congratulations to all the players and coaches involved with the Under 13 and 14 squads.
